Running very rich, hard to start

Hey

I've plugged all the lines for the carbon canister, since I've done that it's pretty hard to start and when it fires up it's running very rich. Plenty of black smoke out the exhaust.

Is this normal behaviour after this mod and if so I better head down to the dyno for it to be tuned.

I think it's just turned out to be a coincidence. Turns out my battery was on its way out and the constant turning over of the motor has just caused it to flood itself.

Have put a new battery in and took it for a spin around the block and it seems to have come good now. Has since started several times without a problem.

All the lines that come out of the carbon canister have been plugged. The only thing I haven't done yet is the fuel vapour return line. That is still in position.
