I was just wondering how you can tell if the Transistor (the thing next to the coil! ) is Faulty. I was checking my one and there is no current getting through it. There is power from the pin onto which it attaches from the base of the distributor There was no continuity when i removed it and checked it with my multimeter.
I have got the car running really well now. Would this explain the problem when accellerating hard?

Also the numbers that were on the transistor were 150-0.47, what does this mean. Im assuming id have to get another one with the same numbers??

    Thank you for any help.

FSM has the test prcedure. Check for momentary continuity between all pins.
