How is the actualy wiring to the starter?

theres a switch that the clutch depresses when pressed down, it compleats the circut for the ignition to the starter, mine broke down and cracked away leaving me stranded having to pop the clutch to start shortley after i purchesed my z31. it would be much wiser to replace it by re-wiring and dash mounting on a toggle switch so this will never happen again...also a cool anti-theft device
