Yeah it was difficult to choose since I only liked about 6 of them.

Yea I had a hard time choosing beyond the few I liked. What's up with people not putting any effort into the background? Garage pics are not my cup of tea I guess. I liked a lot of the subject cars but that doesn't mean the picture was great.

I agree to a certain extent. In my opinion (I know .. not much) the photographs are reflective of the photographer's "eye". Every year - there are submissions that vary in terms of the "photography eye". To me, it's what makes the calendar unique - or at least it did .. up until a few years ago. I prefer the raw - i.e. "un-trained eye" photographs over the "over-post-processed" (like other calendars) of "fake cars/images". Note: I indicated "over-post-processed" …

I understand the not over processed look, but the way I look at it is we are mixing these cars with art. There isn't much artistic about not putting any effort into where your picture is taken. You can get super crazy artistically with Photoshop and such. But I agree that the better the picture the less editing is needed. My submission I upped the saturation to a very small degree in a basic editor to make the colors pop and that was it. Artistic change that didn't change the subject matter at all, just the quality of the highlights in the picture.

I now officially hate vbulletin. Among other things, editing a post to show images is way too complicated. I'll do it later… For now you can click them.

Did you guys know this is the 11th edition of the Z31 Calendar? Various community members have produced the calendar over the years with thousands of participants submitting photos. The quality of some of the photos produced for this calendar never ceases to amaze. Keep up the great work!

    I counted 12??

Per Jason and the voting .. it was for 12 …

I understand the confusion .. traditionally, it was 13 .. 1-cover and then the remaining 12 for 12 months. The change was not explained, it really doesn't have to be, eh?

The question? Now that all the "fun" is done. How many calendars will be ordered/sold? 12 at least?
