ZCON 2014 - Z Club of San Diego (SoCAL)
http://www.zcsd.org/ZCON_2014.html
Start saving your $ … for me, it'll mean 2 trips to San Diego in 2014!
San Diego ComicCon and then ZCON!
There are already plans in the works for a Z carvan from NorCAL. I'm hoping (?) that I can get together with some that will want to commission a hauler to transport our Z's to the show.
NorCAL'ers … let me know if you're interested in a caravan or hauler or both?
Info only: My recent trip to SDCC .. trip from Sac to SD, with minimal in town driving, and back to Sac .. cost around $350 in gas.
That's taking only 1-vehicle. I really don't want to drive 2 vehicles down there. If I can "get in" with a car hauler (vs just renting a hauler and towing it my self). I'm thinking .. $400 - $500 per car (just tossing out numbers) .. it'll be worth it.'84Z31 GLL turbo|theZenthusiast site: http://www.thezenthusiast.com |

From … Christopher V Karl via FB
FYI, the ZCCA is working to catalog/archive old convention images on it's FB group and website. If you haven't joined the ZCCA group, please do so here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/zcarclubassociation/
As an example, I have been uploading the mass of photos taken by our photographers (Bill Gerber and Kevin Carrol) from the Cleveland Z Club's hosting of the 2008 Annual International Z Car Convention. I'm ~half done for 2008 and already over 760 images available. Anyone know any details about the Nissan Design Center tour? Is it a lottery? Only a lucky few will get to go? The ZCON website doesn't seem to have too much information currently. -

Starts tomorrow. Who's going? Who's already there?
About 6 Z's left Sacramento this morning at 7AM … A few plan to leave tomorrow morning from the SF area.
I'm not able to go .. just got back from Comic-Con (which was in San Diego) and planning (already paid for) trip to DC for a week. Entertainment budget is blown for 2014. LOL!'84Z31 GLL turbo|theZenthusiast site: http://www.thezenthusiast.com |

But its not fair to leave my 8 month pregnant wife behind!
My wife told me to "go" (alone .. not bring family) … and no doubt I would have "found something to occupy myself and enjoy the convention" .. but just the $$$ … I guess I'm just too cheap! LOL!'84Z31 GLL turbo|theZenthusiast site: http://www.thezenthusiast.com |
