    Distributor Rotor Timing. Correct Orientation?

Just looking to confirm this is correct or if it is a tooth off. The white out from the previous owner(s) has me second guessing myself. It looks correct going by the picture from the FSM, but I'd rather have a second opinion.

Clearly that is square tooth timing compnents. I threw those out with the old belt and went round tooth.

I have no idea. That is what Autozone gave me. It looked just like the old one I took off.

Are there any benefits going to the vg33 components?

The z31 era oem rotor is wider at the contact area, allowing a much larger range of timing, which is why people are able to get the car to fire when it's off a tooth… I have no idea if there's any actual benefit though, just saying
