    Manual Conversion

OK so following some advice given, I am doing a Manual conversion on my 88 NA. The donor car is a 85 NA. (Have engine out) Reading some guides, they say to make sure you use the transmission from the same model car. All NA's had the same transmission, didn't they? If so, I should be fine?

My second question is regarding NA2T. After the manual conversion I will be doing NA2T as soon as I can source all the part. So after the manual conversion I will still have the 88 auto ecu in the car. Now, should all the turbo parts I need, be coming from a 85 turbo? If yes. Whats the problem I hear about 85t ecu's? If they cause problems, what should I use.

Last question is just some advice on what extra things you think I should do during the conversion.

Yes, I am a "noob", so if you took the time to even read my post. I thank you
As always, any help is greatly appreciated.......Thanks

This should answer questions about the ECU.

I might need an exterior trim piece from the donor if you don't mind.

    Thanks
"Hence, the desirable unit for 84-85T cars would be an 88-89NA ECU"
So I should use my same ecu then?

And you can come pick it up in a week or so
