    Pretty much the idea. Higher compression ratio = higher cylinder pressures…which in turn means more power with the same amount of boost - but it also means you can't push it as far.

    as fun as it sounds the whole 11 dollars id get for buying a go pro to record and the unknown dollar amount of damage id do to my car just doesn't seem to add up.

    so just did my compression test and heres my #s
    #2 - 170 psi
    #4 - 180 psi
    #6 - 180 psi
    #1 - 185 psi
    #3 - 180 psi
    #5 - 180 psi

    all plugs removed and plenum removed for test

    what would cause a quiet knock / loud tick and compression not be effected?

    plugs #6, #3, and #1 were pretty black from carbon build up all the others look normal.
