    downpipe studs

i just installed a cm downpipe, but the stock studs are too short. how do i swap these out for longer studs? do they pound out like a wheel stud or do they turn out like a head stud?

They're threaded like a head stud or an exhaust manifold stud.

Might be easier to weld a nut on in that location…Then you wouldn't have to heat :-)
