    Rear Fog Lamps

As some of you may know, there are sockets on the 87-89 center tail light piece for rear fog lights. I will be performing this modification fairly soon and was curious if there is any online documentation of this mod or existing units that may be helpful to me.

Grab a couple junk brake lights with the red covers broken. That way, if you do turn them into brake lights, you can add the light diffusers. The 87+ lights don't have enough similar material which is why I recommend getting two of those suckers. Taris Blue's pictures don't really accurately show how different from the regular brake lights they look without it.

    Doh!

No more than 10 minutes ago did I see Taris Blue's write up, which is very well done. Kudos to you sir!

Another Question: Is a stock replacement for the butyl holding the lights on available? I would rather avoid an aftermarket measure.

Actually the center light section has no butyl sealant on it, only the rubber body gasket so you've got nothing to worry about in terms of sealing issues.
