W series crank pulley on a/b crank.

I have been searching this for a couple hours and have not come up with defiant answer. Every thing i have read is that it should work with a longer bolt. Can any one confirm this?

This describes putting a A/B-crank pulley on a W-Crank… not the other way around....

    Identification Additional Info
Nissan made a spacer to allow you to fit the older A/B series crank pulleys to the W series cranks. The part number is 12308-V5321

This said it should work. I did some more searching today and found a post from butter saying he used a used a w series pulley with the ab crank on his cressida. I am going to try it and see what happens.

I finished bolting everything up this morning and it works. I swapped the power steering pump, water pump pulley, and crank pulley from an 88 NA. I did have to buy a new crank bolt as the one from the 86 na was to short and the one from the 88na was the wrong diameter. The bolt i used was fastenal pn 11114730. m12x1.25x100 10.9 grade.
