Great mod to have if you are worried about boost spike. The easiest way to adjust this is to do a boost leak test. Keep tightening bolt clockwise until desired pressure is achieved just before pressure is relieved by valve.Usual Z31 suspect: Garage Queen (aka broken)

I guess if you went to a store that specializes in industrial pneumatics and asked them for a relief valve with a 1" NPT thread they'll give you one.
There are no other car-destined applications though.

Thanks for the info! I'd really like to get one just in case....and no, I don't want to modify the stock one (not for now, at least)
Edit: I called them up and they told me that these are very "crude/primitive" valves and that they won't work on a car because they are "slow acting"…which means your system will spike for a few seconds still (and then equalize pressure). So a no-go on these
I guess I'll have to buy this one lol -

I bought the last one sold in the US new lol. They can be found in decent shape online though. Some people still have them in the box too.Usual Z31 suspect: Garage Queen (aka broken)
