^An AE kouki? Kinda like it. First time I have seen the AE 2 tone/pinstripe on a 87-89. I like the flares too. -

Sorry for reopening an old thread. But pictures of Z31's from Japan (As Dwayne posted) can't be used to determine what type of fenders it has/had. If you look at the Z31club picture Dwayne posted, it came from a Japanese Z31 club headed by Little K and is a picture of an 87 200ZR (member 408). If you look at all the Kouki front end 200ZR's, many have the Zenki fenders. Especially the 87's. I was mainly looking at 200ZR's. The Kouki AE pictured above may have been one of these Zenki bodied Kouki front and rear end Z31's 200ZR's.
In the JDM, you can't assume there are Kouki rear quarters under Dwayne's attachment. So we don't know the AE flare fitment on a Kouki AE unless we know what was originally under the flares.
the 3 white Z31's below are all different cars. All say 87 200ZR
Little K's 88 200ZR
Restore it, Don't crush it. They don't make them like this anymore.

Though I did buy a set of AE flares and side skirts to retro fit onto my 89. This project wont take place until after i'm done working on my suspension and engine, BUT I can tell you that the AE kit will not fit without modification. The skirts are short about 3" and sit funny on the car (as is). The flares will fit, but only add about an inch of width on either side.
I will have a detailed post about the project when it comes, but don't hold your breath, its going to be a while.
p.s this is not an empty promise, I've always wanted an AE kit on my Kouki. I personally love the look and would love to reproduce it on my 89. please no flame<style>.ig-b- { display: inline-block; }
