I can't seem to get my hood, bumper and headlights aligned.

I had to replace my hood, bumper and headlights on my 88 Turbo but I can't seem to get them to all line up correctly. I don't know if I'm missing a piece of trim or what. So any help will be appreciated, thanks.

When I did a kouki swap on my 86, i had trouble lining up my bumper. The fenders weren't lining up and there was a 1/2" gap between the hood and bumper.
It turned out that the upper bumper cover bracket was bent, took me days to figure it out lol. Got a new el junkyard bracket and all was well.

    Good luck.

looks like the hood end needs to pivot to the left, passenger headlight needs to rotate a little, then compare the hood to the bumper…
    Damn dirty angels....these cars!

Current Daily Driver - 86 Turbo.
Under the cover - THE BANANA… that needs to be re-energized.

If you loosen the 4 hood bolts (2 each side), then barely, I mean barely tighten them to where they barely hold, you can now play with the alignment.
Once you have it, very carefully lift the hood up and tighten the bolts down all the way.

Its always always helps to have a buddy helping you on this one.
