Tons of people run 17s and 18s. You left out the width and offset, which are more important than diameter really. Check the members rides section and you can see what type of wheels and tires people are able to fit.

I use 18x8's 30 offset from a G35 on my 84 turbo. They fit great with 8mm spacers up front

Theyve got a sizing chart. I was leaning on either 30 or 40 offset. Im going to post a picture of what the previous owner did to lower this thing

Make sure you get the right wheel bolt pattern. Our 5 lug z31s are 5x114.3

30 or 40 offset? No mention on width still? You should read up a bit more before deciding on anything. Here's a start:

So off of those wheel charts i can use 18" Wheels with 25mm Inset at Bolt Pattern 5x114.3

Enkei does carry that size but there is no mention of Offset at all on their sizing chart

There is a "size" column that starts the wheels are size 8.5: so 18x8.5 with 25mm Inset and a bore diameter of 72.6

I'm going to guess i'll need spacers up front as well, just need to be exact and measure it all out before making any sort of decision.

                Any follow-ups are greatly appreciated!

Thanks for all the help thus far as well

If i'm just being dumb and Inset is the same as Offset: I hope we all get a big laugh about it

If so, couldn't i just use the 18x8 at40mm "Inset" as long as it's the right lug pattern at 5x114.3

I assume inset is the same as offset. 40mm should be fine or go with 35 to be safe. 18x8's will definitely fit an 87 front and rear.

Uhhh.... for a 8" wide wheel, I would be looking for 0 offset. Think of it this way. Higher offset (inset is the same thing on that chart), the further into the fender the wheel will sit. This means the car's overall track width is narrower. For lower offset, the wheel sits further out of the wheel well (i.e. wider overall track width). If you wanted the 18x8.5 all around, I would get the +25 offset and run a 25mm spacer on front and a 32mm spacer on the rear.

For the 87NA if you want to be a little more conservative (i.e. if you don't have front camber adjustment or are worried about tire rubbing your fenders), you can go with the 18x8.5 +35 and use 25mm spacer for front and rear for a little bit less width than what I originally recommended.

Or just do 18x8.5 + 25 with no spacers will be even more conservative and you don't have to get spacers.

Yeah, true. For my 84 turbo unfortunately I cant get offset that low without rubbing. An 87 is a different story though

Im running 17x8 up front and 17x10 in rear. XXR (Sportmax) 531s. I like the 17s because there just big enough if i go with larger brakes later and it seams like tires are cheaper for 17" wheels compared to 18"
Not sure about the 2+2 model with offset but im using 315s in the rear.
