    Plenum Covers

Made a couple of plenum covers using the ones from the Infiniti M30.
Can't figure which one to keep on the car. The black one looks good in photos, while the gold/red one looks better in person. Not a big fan of the 3000 stock one.
    Here is the pics.

    Damn.

    Both look sick to me.

I like the black one better though if I had to pick.

The black and red one looks good on that motor but,

I could see where the other one might look better if
the valve covers were matched to the same cream color.

I say paint the cream one black, but keep the red on it.

I say stop stealing plenum covers from such a rare car :P

But seriously, the black one looks best IMO.

For reference, this is what the M30 one looks like stock (and dirty)

I say… they're both too baller to put on a Z, and that I like the stock NA one the best.

From what I've read they made 2500 Hardtop M30's and about the same in convertibles, although I see far more convertibles around.
The black one with the lines and Nissan came from a hardtop, the other from a vert which had an infiniti logo on it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I painted that one flat black, kept the red, and changed nissan logo to the "Round" type nissan logo found on most maxima, sentra's etc.. Came out great. Thanks.

    Thanks for the comments…
The bottom one I got at a U-Pull off a M30 convertible. The other I purchased off a Nicoclub forum member parting out an engine.

Here it is, for some reason this one doesn't photograph well. Looks better in person. There is a nice oval Nissan emblem on ebay that would look good in the recessed part…but I'm done for now, unless I find another cheap in the jy.
