    71C in a 87 turbo car

I thought I'd ask before I sell this guy a NA 71C transmission. He bought a 5/87 turbo with the 30A transmission and driveshaft missing. He came to me off my CL parts for sale ad looking for one and sees that I have an 87 NA 71C for sale. What will it take, parts wise, to substitute a 71C into his turbo car? I have a complete 87 NA parts car.

To my knowledge it should just be
Flywheel and clutch (not sure if the 71c accepts the 250mm flywheel)
    Trans
    Driveshaft
    Trans mounts
    Shifter

You dont need trans mounts, starter, or flywheel/clutch. Just the trans and driveshaft. The start is the same for all Z31s, 30A, T5, 71C or Automatic. And the trans mounts and crossmember interchange on all manuals. Annnnd....obviously, the shifter will be in the transmission…shift knob threads are the same for all except very very early 84s. Some people say the 250mm clutches wont clear the 71C bellhousing, but I've never had an issue. If you do, just hit it with a grinder a tiny bit because interference will be minimal.

That should only matter if it's analog or digital… well diff ratio but assuming it's 3.7 for both

    Yes.

When I did the T5 to 30a swap in my 87, I didnt even open the hydraulics on the clutch system. Just swapped the trans, drive shaft and shifter. Depending on which drive shaft and diff you have you might need to swap the flange on the diff. In Tims case its the same so no swapping on the diff.
