Troubles with this diffmount
So i purchased this diffmount (http://www.arizonazcar.com/diffmount.html) thinking it would be an easy install, its for an r200 long nose and is made for the 280zx, and the 280zx is pretty similar to the z31. But i got the old one off, the one that looks like this http://imageshack.us/a/img12/6793/001djss.jpg and now i don't think i can use the one i paid for. Is there any way i can use the new one? Should i just try and get a refund? What do you guys think?
Also, what does that wire do? When i was taking off my diffmount the wire was disconnected but barley touching the connector. Is that bad? I was going to put it back in there when i put it back together. -

The wire is a ground strap, normally the entire rear end is isolated by rubber, in theory it could build up a charge…
You should have considered buying a diff mount for _your_ car, not a different car… you could make it work if you're clever, but what's the point, return it…
BTW did you change your subframe bushings yet? -

Don't assume just because it fits a R200 in a S130 chassis it will fit a R200 in a Z31.
ASSUME makes an ASS out of U and ME.
Return it. No ifs, ands, or buts.
