This is what it sounds like when T-5's die.

When I break my T-5 at Gateway next year am I going to be stuck?

What have been your experiences with blown T-5's? What breaks?

    Is this a Prince reference?

Typically T-5's, from what I have heard and observed, like to snap input shafts.

Its usually the input shaft. Find a early 90's stang T5 (WC) and get ahold of Russ84NA for the swap over.

    Just don't clutch kick..?

That is the good thing about our T-5. We already have a steel one.

I finished my rebuild of my T-5 to WC a couple of months ago, but haven't been able to test it as the car it goes in has no engine. Hopefully this will all be finished up this winter.
If the WC T-5 conversion works as I expect I will be doing another and making a DVD showing how to do it.
As Mike said you will need a late 90's Mustang T-5 for the WC donor. If you are interested in doing this rebuild, I can give you a list of Mustang T-5's to look for and help you get started.

Also I have a bunch of Nissan T-5 gears that are in excellent shape if you want to rebuild your T-5

zmech wrote: Not the clutch disk but I had to change the slip yoke. I am sure that Russ had his resplined so that the OE slip yoke worked.
Right, I had it resplined so the yoke works. Also reworked the speedometer so it works also.
