    TPS wire colors?

    I bought an 88 Turbo car with no motor and trans in it. I installed a VG30ET with a GT-35R and some other goodies…when i was wiring the car back up i noticed the throttle position sensor connector was missing, and there are three wires just bare. Anyone know the order of these? Top, middle, and lower in order? thanks!

    Download FSM, it has the wire diagrams (not sure they're the same across the board).

    You can disect the TPS to figure out which wires go where. 3 wires indicate AT, you'll only need two of them for a MT.

    I need to adjust mine. I warn people not to stand behind the car, cause it will shoot flames on throttle lift.

    FSM should have a diagram of the internal connectios. only really uses 2 wires… I dont have mine connected.
    Damn dirty angels....these cars!

    Current Daily Driver - 86 Turbo.
    Under the cover - THE BANANA… that needs to be re-energized.

    I looked on alldata and the colors were way different compared to mine. I will look at the FSM. Thanks again
