    Need help… MAF question

I want to perform a MAF to MAP conversion on my '87 Z31. Anyone out there know what it would take or how to do this? I've heard that a MAP sensor is a better gauge than a MAF especially when boosted so any help would be appreciated, thanks.

just install a control system that is designedto use a map sensor setup.

so i can't just hardwire the map sensor into the MAF wires? I'd actually need to buy a whole new fuel management system, correct?

You need to buy some kind of stand alone setup. I can say if you didn't know that then you wont be able to install it yourself.

The easy way would be to run a stand alone. This way you can choose between a MAP or a MAF. There is probably a way to wire one in and use all kinds of fancy electrical engineering shit, but to do it easily… No. Just go stand alone.
