I love how they just milled down a turbine housing meant for a 4 bolt flange and made a v-band out of it.

    1988 300zxt. gt35, stance, etc. Wheels: Varrstoen ES2 18x9.5 et-13 225/40. 18x10.5 et0 245/40

it's most likely casted with extra metal that needs machining whether it's a 4 bolt or a v-band.
effective production costs savings = smart people behind the product.

Didnt know you could get them with a 3" inlet compressor housing with no anti-surge....hmmm, should make intake plumbing easier if you plan on a pull through setup. Nice nice man. Power goals?

Yeah it's the "E Housing" option and I think matches to my setup pretty much perfectly and as you say will be easier to do the plumbing for.

My power goals are fairly modest to start at around 350rwkw/470rwhp as a solid street weapon, any more will be a bonus at this stage but no doubt I will want to hit 400rwkw plus eventually!

At how much boost do you think you'll make that much power (470 whp)?

    I'm guessing about 22psi.

With built heads and a good shortblock I am going to guess it will take 23-24psi on a VG30 and 20-21 on a VG33. Also depends largely on what type of dyno (Dynojet, Dyno Dynamics, Mustang dyno, etc) as well as corrected or uncorrected numbers. For sake of saying a dynojet and corrected numbers, I feel it will take as much boost as I stated to achieve those numbers…

Yeah I was picking about early to mid 20lbs… Heads are fully built and I've gone a bit overboard on everything else so lets see! lol

Yeah the fitment is great huh? There is a good amount of room either side, I was quite impressed. Looks like it was made for it almost!

I will be on E85 on March 26th. Planning on an 18psi and a 24psi pull. Hoping for over 400whp on low boost and over 450whp on high boost
