    T25 to T3 upgrade

i have a 1988 300zx turbo and i was wondering if was possible to upgrade to a T3 turbo since my engine is already out and i have one in my garage. What would i need in order to make this upgrade possible? I didn't know if the different size of each turbo would mess with the afrs and require me to use an ecu from a 87 for example. I searched but i couldn't find anything that explicitly told me what i would need to make it run correctly with the t3. Thanks in advance.

Change the charge pipes, oil and water lines. Exhaust manifold and down pipe are interchangeable if the T3 has the elbow.

Only other thing to watch out for is the o2 sensor in the exhaust elbow. The later cars used the thin sensor, whereas the earlier ones used the larger. And can't really be swapped without changing the bung in the housing. When I upgraded mine in my Shiro, I also had the issue of the S shaped black intake pipe did not fit for the life of me, and I had to get one from a T3 turbo car. Some people don't seem to have this issue, but it didn't work in my case.

For the oxygen sensor, would it be possible just to use the larger Titania oxygen sensor from an 86-87 turbo considering the 88 turbo also uses a Titania sensor or are the pigtails different as well? here's the link i'm referencing the sensors from: http://www.redz31.net/pages/fuel.html

The car will be perfectly happy without an o2 sensor, too.
