    Any 87+ Fsm shows that kouki racks have quicker steering ratio.

    17:1 on zenki
    15.3:1 on kouki

    That and I believe turns lock to lock is shorter also.

    Umm quicker steering and less turns between lock are the same thing

    Suggestion after the fact on this - you probably have a rack and pinion shop in your city, it will often be the same guys who do cv axle rebuilds and driveshafts. Rebuilding power racks as manual is a thing, honduh and german car guys come in for it all the time, it's a $60-$100 type of job. If someone else does the rack for you this job is a pretty quick afternoon.
