    Adjustable suspension interchange

Yeah, another adj sus question. I've been doing some searching with no result. Fig the fastest way to get a straight answer is to ask.

I have an 84 GLL and an 84 turbo parts car. Since it's free and I'm cheap, I'd like to put the adjustable suspension on my GLL as well as the 5 lug setup. I don't think I'll have much issue of making the suspension physically fit, but the wiring… do I need to transfer over the wiring harness?

Adjustment of the electronic shocks is via a switch located on the center console (3-settings .. LOL, I don't even touch it anymore .. "S" .. "M"(?) … "F"

So my guess is "yes" .. you'll need the harness from the 84T to make it work.

The main body harness would have to be changed. Which means the car basically has to be completely stripped including all interior, dash, plus everything thats behnid the dash. If it was me I would set the shocks to stiff then swap the 5 lug stuff over and just keep it like that. More than likely even if the suspension does work it will need to be serviced in the future at some point anyways and instead of installing old used struts again you'll probably just go with aftermarket. Have you checked to see if the shock light moves through the settings or flashes? I have quite a bit of adjustable shock parts if you need any. I also have regular struts and shocks(good/used and new)Just swing through or let me know.

you do not need to move the entire harness. (although some would see that as the easier route)

find, isolate, and remove this circuit from your donor Z and wire it into the one receiving the adjustable shocks

I wrap my paper weights in glitter.
