  • Tokico 5 way ajustable setting

I recently bought an 88 turbo that came with new ST springs and tokico 5 way adjustable.
My question is what's the best setting for every day driving keep in mind that I drive like I stole it Also what's a good setting for auto cross for those that have this set up.

I would drive with it stiff all the time, maybe a little softer on daily driving like around 4 or 3

HAHAHAHA yeah, you should put those bastards on 5 and then you will know what jumping is if you think 2 is jumping.

I set mine on 5 front & rear all the time. I also have urethane engine mounts, aluminum tranny & diff mounts & aluminum subframe bushings. Roads here in Vegas are pretty smooth & my Z is not my daily driver. I'm getting coilovers soon as this set up is not stiff enough for me yet. Too soft on the track still.

I've got mine set on 4. I would prefer 3 but they are so damn noisy that I can't stand it. Ride is firm but not overly harsh. It gets a little jostled on shitty NYC roads and expansion joints on the parkways can be annoying but overall worth the handling gain.

For DD use, 3 front, 2 rear.

Thanks guys for the feed back. I think I'm going to put them at 3 front and 2 rear like Firehawk was suggesting for dd there is lots of constructions by my house now sow the roads are very uneven.

Ive driven quite a few cars with coilover setups far stiffer than you could get with a set of Illuminas, rough, just how your mother likes it.
