Lower Control Arms + Rear Flange type stuff

Digging through the fiche on Zbums page I noticed that there are quite a few different lower control arms.

Has anybody ever done a side by side on these?
Also check the over lap on the 2-87 / 8-87 Lower Control arms. Kind of have to wonder the difference there.

The second part of my question is has to do with the rear flanges.

I have a set of 88T rear LCAs. The actual RLCA, and Hubs are the same for anything T or N/a post 9/86. I picked up an s13 Nismo LSD a few weeks back that I want to install into one of my open diff pumpkins.

What diff companion flange should I use? I have a set of 88 n/a axles and and diff stubs but not the wheel side companion flange, I also have a full setup on two 86Ts, and lastly I have an AE setup missing axles. Is there any inherent strength to be gained in the later equipment as after I have my nistune dialed in I will be looking for some serious power.

Use whatever diff companion flange that fits your DS. The diffs dont have stubs on the z31, axle just plugs in. Use whatever alxe matches you inner flange on the LCA.
    Hmmm, Whats next?

so really no big deal? Like 88T are not super-kinka-mega-mega better? I feel underwhelmed.

Turbo axles are a lil stronger, if you decide to use them then you will need the 4 bolt inner flanges as well. As far as I have seen all 6 bolt na and all 4 bolt turbo axles are the same minus the SS vlsd axles. Well the na's are all the same and the turbo are all the same, maybe that makes more sense.

Seems weird that a 4 bolt would be stronger than a 6 bolt design

Theory is that the joints are where the strength comes in.

The 4 bolt ones have larger bolts too....
