    where to buy performance pads?

I would like performance pads for heavy mountain driving that are aldo suitable for 'weekend track events'.

Not one place had matching performance pads (front and rear) for my 85t. I have spent the last 3 days looking and researching; still nothing. I searched the forum and checked every website mentioned. I have also gone into every auto store and even asked about special order. Only option is Hawk HPS or eccs for $250+ special order 4wks out… I already hit the wear indicator.

Seems Porterfield R4S pads from the manufacturer for $140 (plus s&h) is my best option? No idea how long to get them.

Any help would be much appreciated. I would like to spend less than $140 since I want to upgrade to z32 brakes this coming spring but do not want fake performance pads either. If I could get them within the week it would be good or pick them up being best. I was going to go with stoptech 309 since everyone says they are better than HPS, and are cheap, but they only have them for our rear?

    Thx in advance!

try some ceramic based pads. available ~60 from various places, heat ranges are very suited for heavy driving.

I'd go with some Carbotech pads. A little pricey, but great quality. I think Zach can get them if you ask him, but I don't think they are on the ASCO site. Their AX6 series of pads should do what you want. Keep in mind you'll have to order them based on the 1984-1986 non-turbo since they don't list the early turbo model cars.

Prius… because Pretentious wouldn't fit across the back of the car…

Cheap, Fast, Reliable - pick any two
