    Tires 18 … is this to big ?

    hello,

    stock tire are 225/50 16"

    i will swap my rims from
    front: 235/45 17"
    back 255/40 17"

    to
    i am going now to but
    front: 225/45 18"
    back: 245/45 18"

    will this fit ? my car is a bit lower than stock
    and how is it with the speedo ?
    there should be a small difference also in stock ?

    does anyone have experience with it ?
    what is the maximum tire rollout to get close as possible to the speedo ?

    Yes, 225/45 245/45 is too large. Go for 225/40 245/40 for 18's.

    Did you even go to the link? I'm assuming you didn't since you're asking this.

    I bought new tires for my Z33 wheels. Here's what I run now;

    235/40/18 F - 255/40/18 R

    This below was taken from my build thread;

    ---

    Factory: 225/45/18 Front - 25.9" inches diameter
    .......... 245/45/18 Rear - 26.7" Diameter.

    Option 1. 225/45/18 Front - 25.9" Diameter
    ........... 255/40/18 Rear - 26" Diameter

    Option 2. 235/40/18 Front - 25.4" Diameter
    ........... 255/40/18 Rear - 26" Diameter

    I ran these wheels Without spacers for a while and the original tire size before I bought new tires. The only issue is the dust cap does not fit behind the wheel on the front. It's VERY close to the strut perch for sure without spacers, luckily when I bought my wheels, the tread was low on the tires.. new tread may have issues?

    with my new tire size, which I went with Option 2, are still pretty close, and I have 25mm spacers on now.

    thank u very much for the answer =)
    this kind of answer i estimated

    so it will be very close to the strut perch at rear and front ?
    fender liner i will also put it out

    front: 225/45 18x8 offset 30 + ??mm spacer (i won´t much spacer, how much do i need for not hiting the perch?)
    back: 245/45 18x8 offset 30 + 25mm spacer ( everthing will be ok ? )

    how u experience with the speedo at those tires ?

    Rear seems fine, front is pretty close to the perch, but no rubbing. Speedo reads slightly under on my car, so I have to be a little careful hah

    New wheels look awesome on there. There shouldn't be any issues in the rear if they fit on there now nicely, I'd say run it for a little bit and check for any evidence of rubbing on anything. I think you'll be fine. Mine *looks* pretty close, but it's never rubbed on anything. About the only other thing you could do if you had issues with rubbing would be to reduce the sidewall height of the tire. But, I don't think you're going to have any issues. That style of wheel really suits the car well. I like.
