    Rear Subrframe Bushings

I'm in the middle of swapping my rear subframe for a S14 subframe, and I've got a quandary. Do i put in new Rubber Bushings, switch to Poly, or go all the way to Solid.
I would like some opinions on the matter.

I'll probably take some shit for this but if you are going to be mainly DDing the car and you live anywhere north of the frost line, go with new stock rubber (also the priciest option.) Poly is by far the best for the other bushings but if you have cracked/rough roads where you live poly subframe bushings make for a really hard ride if you have a stiff suspension.

My last Z had new stock rubber subframe bushings, this one has new poly, and honestly for normal or spirited road driving the minor feel improvement of poly is not (for me) worth the nonstop bang and rattle.

Qualification on this is that the roads here are really, really shit. If I lived south of Baltimore it would be poly all day.

I would say, feel free to go solid for the subframe mounts, there's so many bushings on the multilink, it will inherently cushion more

A lot of people have been upgrading links to something like megan's stiffer rubber bushings lately, instead of switching to poly

How are you swapping the rear subframe into the car? If you are using Mike G kit, you will need to use s13-->s14 conversion busings to make it work.

Your only option is to run solid s13 to s14 subframe conversion bushings rather nothing will line up properly/need modification on the kit pieces themselves.
