    Will these wheels fit ???

A friend of mine keeps trying to help me get better tires and brakes for my modified 1985 Z31 Turbo. Although I appreciate his efforts and understand that better handling and brakes are a nice addition to having more power, I'm not quite sure that what he's suggesting will fit. He's suggesting 8" wide Enkei PF01 17 inch with 235/45/17 tires. I personally don't think I have the inner clearance, but perhaps some here might know what my limits are with wider/taller wheels. Thank you.

What's the offset and bolt pattern? Most 5x114 wheels fit our cars, but most have positive offsets which sink deep into the fenders due to our cars running a low offset stock.

The bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3 with 50mm positive offset.
I think that's way too much for a 17 inch into the strut.

    Check out http://www.thezenthusiast.com/wheelshow.html

Has the factory specs and you can look at what others have run.

You could run spacers for those or just get wheels with the right offset.

If you get spacers try and get hub centric ones.
