    Glovebox removal

Is there a way to do this without having glovebox unlocked? My key won't open the glovebox and need stuff out of it

BTW, is the ignition key supposed to open the glove box?

There was a valet key that worked the ignition but not the glove box. I didn't get either of the original keys when I got my car back, so I don't know if the key I have is a copy of the valet or the master.

When all else fails, consult the owner's manual:

So if all cuts are same I can get another key made based off the key I have (doesn't open glovebox) and it just has to have a different groove?
