Friend attempted to jump start my car and had the jumper cable on opposite stuff. Ground to postive and vice versa… It ended up burning through a wire in a box in front of the battery. I believe it is a fusible link but can't seem to find anything online to order a new one… What is this excact name of part so I can order it? Thanks in advance -
Same thing happened to me, luckily the fuse did it's job and nothing else was damaged.
The exact name is "Fusible Link" and they are available through MSA
