Using an 88T engine bay harness in an 84T question.
Thinking of buying a OEM surplus engine bay harness for my AE (84T GLL digital 5spd). Started a wire tuck, don't want one now.
He's got one for a 88-89T GLL digital 5spd.
I'd have to rewire the foglight connectors as they are in different locations.
It would solve the lean surge issue the earlier ECUs have.
Should be compatible with the digital speed sensor and gauges.
I know i'd need to run a 88T ECU,high impedance injectors and suitable O2 sensor,
I've gone over the harness in my 84T and compared that with the 88SS and in my mind, there shouldn't be any issues.
Is there something i'm missing maybe? Seems simple enough, if it is i might buy a second one for my 84T just for a spare.
Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken the headlamp motor plugs are different for 84-86 and 87-89. Some other electrical plugs maybe different near battery and maybe different for emissions junk behind driver's headlight.
