Urgent: 88 Turbo Mani on 87 Turbo Car

    Hi guys,

If anyone can give me a straight answer regarding the Turbo exhaust Manifolds.

I just took the uncracked turbo exhaust manifold off my 88T with the stock T25mall, and I'm curious to know if it the stock 87 Turbo will bolt upto it no problems.

I have to either get this one sandblasted, or have someone weld the 87T manifold, but I have to get it done tomorrow for sure, as the weekend is approaching.

If anyone could help, that would be great.

87Turbo T3 with stock turbo elbow
    87Turbo Stock Intake hardpipe
    88 Turbo manifold.

    Does it work?

    Thanks

the manifolds are identical, its the MAF to turbo hard pipe that is different.

and intake pipe as well, as I found out.

    thanks!

is there anything I can do with the T3 to brace it better so the weight doesn't crack this manifold?

put a flex pipe on your downpipe.

probably not, it might contribute to it, but you should have one on there anyway.

thanks, ill keep that in mind for when I make my new one.

the 2.5 inch i j00ked from the 88T that i welded my O2 bung onto is 3/4 inch too long. so I can't use it anyway.
