BLOWN FUEL PUMP FUSE

I started my Z today and it died and would not start. I noticed no fuel pump humm?. I checked fuses, found a bad fuel pump fuse, I replaced it, Turned the key and the fuel pump ran again, but make a funny kunk kunk sound, I started it up it run, kinda for about 5 sec. Then I tried to restart again fuse popped again. I think its a bad pump. Any one ever blow any fuel pump fuses?

Sounds like it is pulling to much amperage, which usually means mechanical resistance of some kind. Unless you are shorting to ground somewere?

Good chances it is the pump
