    VG30DE J30 oil pan on vg30et?

    Hi all
I am searching this for a while now and got some answers already but not all.

    Im putting a vg30et from a '87 300zx in an ae86 corolla on an 240sx s13 subframe.

For this combo i will need a front sump oil pan and found a shop that has the motor mounts and a already custom oil pan with oil pickup that suits my needs.
    http://xcessivemanufacturing.com/ind…g30-s-opm.html

The only downside is that its from a newer j30 VG30DE.

So my question does it all fit?

I found out on this website that the oil pan of the newer dohc engine is 7mm longer and that all the bolt holes line up except 4 at the oil pump.
Is this just a matter of drilling new holes or file the holes to fit or just not possible?

Fitting the oil pan without the 4 bolts will that give problems? I think that it might leak?

    Any answers/idea's appreciated

    Thanks in advance

    No, it will not work.
The VG30DE pans are longer (by some 1/4") than the VG30E pans.

Why not use a Maxima VG30E oil pan? Its already front sump.

Yeah that was my first idea.

Just found xcessive that made the whole package that would make my life easier.

Maybe they can make one for the vg30e for me.

Otherwise i will make it myself with the vg30e oil pan.

    Thanks for the information
