Coolant hose diagram/intake manifold
So car was driving well. Started to smell some maple syrup smell. Then a mile of two later, the car stalled out and steam erupted from the passenger side of the engine bay. When opening the hood, there was moisture only on the passenger side of the bay. I replaced all the radiator hoses back in June. The steam smelled like maple syrup. Was wondering if a) someone had a coolant diagram to show the coolant hoses that go into the intake manifold. b) if anyone has had issues with coolant leaking from the intake manifold? -

Radiator hoses have nothing to do with them. you need to locate the leak with UV dye and light.
There's too much stipulation for these conditions with the information provided, you need to locate the leak.
This sounds like a critical failure, but it requires diagnoses that an internet stranger can't provide.Last edited by 88sinZ; 08-30-2016, 11:53 PM. -

Yeah I understand it's hard to diagnose without looking at. Do you know of a diagram that'd help me know which lines are coolant lines? -

FSM LC-7 has a flow chart, but no diagram image

besides the main radiator and thermostat lines, you should have some at the firewall (heater) the throttle body, and the aux. air valve.
You should be able to rent a coolant system pressure tester from your local autoparts store, fill the system, bring it to pressure and look for the leak.
