    Z31 chts

Got my vg33 in and running fixed the oil pressure problem (oil pick up tube had a small crack) and have a little bit of cold start issues. So i went through everything and came across and issue i think. When i try testing the CHTS Ohms from the plug or connector in the engine bay i get nothing. I also tested the plug and wire that goes from the engine harness to the CHTS and its fine. My next test is to take the CHTS out and do a ohms test on it just to be sure.

I was wondering what you guys think of my situation and also i have looked around where to buy a CHTS from and came up short. I found one at Autozone the link is below but its labeled under coolant temperature sensor which i really doubt both the chts and coolant temp sensor are the same. Does anyone know where to find a trusted one? really dont want to get the wrong one seeing how this things a pain to get in or out (not sure what they were thinking putting it in that location..).

    Thanks everyone

It is also labeled as a coolant temp sensor in many cases since it does measure coolant temperature. Just make sure part numbers match. Isn't OEM available? Might be worth the investment as it's quite a pain to change it.
