Major click to what seems to be coming from heads
Was driving home from doing yard work for my girls mother, and felt a vibration by the time i got home i got out of the car and her a moderately loud clicking sound coming from that area, oil is fine auto trans fluid is fine, but i have a loss of power to the car and the clicking never goes away just "click click click click" right along with the idle , any ideas of what could be causing this ? my buddy was talking about a bearing somewhere in there but this is my first Z and im pretty much stumped. -

spun rod bearing? collapsed lifter? lifter is more likely for the head area, you might have also skipped a tooth or two on the timing belt which would cause rough running.. hopefully you didn't ding a valve or something.

it could be a manifold leak. it could be a lifter ticking.
it could be a bearing too, but that sounds more "knock" like.
