Just ordered the Z31 plenum from Zack at ASCO and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival and more impotantly, the installation. Would like to hear from others who have completed this mod about HP gains and/or any other gains. I didn't list my current mods as thety are listed in the sig.
1) K&N cone Filter
2) C&M Performance 3" with hi flo catalytic converter and muffler
3 Turbosmart MBC set at 10psi currently (will probably turn that up to 11 or 12 psi when the plenum is installed. Have gotten the plenum installed and will pick up the car on Wed. My mechanis indicates significant increase in mid-hi rpm response. It appears to be as advertised by Zack as it relates to HP gains and response.

The plenum is in. Bang for the buck is low. The claimed 7-10% increase in hp I believe is mildy overstated. Still good.
Should have gone intercooler first. I didn't go to a gutted plenum until I got my 6765 turbo.
I even had a t3/t04e pushing 20+psi, and I was still using the stock oem plenum with the stock throttle body.
You really have to have supporting mods to utilize the potential from a gutted plenum, even then, you may not "feel" the difference. -
