I like how it is in the second pic of the Z, subtle nothing wild. I'm gonna start with the brake light housing and cut it to make it into a sort of a base to work off of that.
So basically I'm thinking cut where the yellow line is and move the 2 pieces to the edges and fiberglass a piece for the middle and then use that as a mold to start with. -

My buddy has an 87na shell that I can prolly convince him to let me hack into. I like this idea as well, I just wish I had some gaddam experience with fiberglass.

Someone make a mold and then sell them! I'd be interested. I love the look of the one that is even with the stock spoiler. It's subtle, but adds a lot to the lines of the car. Maybe I'll make one… I've been interested in learning fiberglass for a while."Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. This is what I have done so far. Got it all cut up to how I want it and put a piece of cardboard in the gap to get an idea of how it will look. Tomorrow will come all the bondo and fiberglass to get a decent mold. -

Humm, I had imagined something larger. I'm not sure how noticeable this would even be. I think this does prove it would look cool on a Z31 though! I like it."Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. This one is to just get an idea and to see how it would look, I want to try out different versions…bigger, different angle, no space underneath and I might try to take a mold of part of the rear spoiler and use that so it would have the same angle. -

Looks nice. Definitely will look nice when painted to match the body. There are plenty of subtle spoilers roof spoilers out there too. -

I like the size of the one on the RX-7."Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you…"
