Capped Tail light Socket (USDM)
I was checking the POR-15 job i did on the rear deck of my car, and noticed when I removed the tail light lenses that there was another socket in place but it was capped, (how i missed it earlier i do not know). Above the socket it says "Europe" or something to the tune of that. Im just curious what thetas exactly and what wiring in a light for it would do. Why US cars aren't equipped with them, and if anyone has done so before?

Euro cars are required to have a rear fog light for when visibility drops below 50 meters. The rear fog has its own switch. the light also indicates what side of the vehicle the driver is on. So olny one is actually used.
