Okay so I got nistune installed of my ecu. If I want to use the z32 maf do I still need to remove the resistors and what not? Its an 86 NA ecu.

I'm thinking about getting Nistune…But, have a few questions.

First I've been with the romulator for quite sometime.
I've got a really good tune now.

Is it possible to just download my tune onto the Nistune and be good to go.
If not what are the other options to keep the tune I have and get it onto Nistune.

I started using Nistune when it used a Romulator. You did the tune and then burned it onto a chip and inserted in the socket. So I would think that if you have the bin file on the computer you should be able to load it into the nistune software and then upload it to your ecu.
…and how much HP do you have at 0 boost

is there a certain limit in hp, boost, or with nistune type1?
and, can it read any MAF SENSOR? or, is a matter of just connecting the wires of the new MAF?

    So couple of quick questions:

Can Nistune run a Map setup?
Can you Nistune read 2x Mafs, 2x o2, 2x widebands?

No not really and yes any maf as long as connected properly. Maf is a big factor to the hp/boost ability.

Once you have tuned your setup properly with nistune and have a reliable runner, is it possible to pull the changed values and burn a prom to run the ecu with your new preferred tune?

Some classes of racing only allow a stock ecu with nothing extra connected to it but do allow burning a new prom.

But nothing will be connected to it, it's all inside the ecu
