Put some pool noodles on the beams so I don't break my head if I'm off track driving with out a Helmet and I get side swiped

Nice! Any chance of getting some closeups of the welds? I like to stroke my own ego by comparing other peoples to mine

Why not tie into the suspension pickup points in the rear? Or further up to the firewall?

seam welded tube with nasty mig welds and incorrect pickup points? also looks like incomplete fusion on the plates.

There is a good chance that cage will actually cause more damage to the driver than no cage at all, post some close ups on the welds.

I thought for all classes of racing you're supposed to use DOM tubing? And that looks like half a cage, the main hoop should have at least tied into the rear strut towers instead of that weird down bar behind the seat…

It almost looks like it was done by someone who hates symmetry actually haha, is there an opposite to OCD?

guys. it's ok. the same guy who welded this cage also has a custom car shop that specializes in auto body and obnoxiously styled lifted trucks and donks with bitchin sound systems. he knows all about cage building.

lol. it's pretty obvious this car is just a hoon slut, everything about it screams "i really want it to blow up without regard for my safety, as long as I have fun". a cage that won't passed tech is not surprising, if not predictable.

Could be the mylar on the roof… is that some sort of anti-friction trick for the helmet to rub on?
