My thinking is that I'll go with the 22'5's for now - there conservative in width. At least, I'll be able to gauge how much wider I can go with the next set.

225 will be stretched on 9's but it'll work.

Hey Justin, I purchased the rims, but not the tires. Based on my rims specs for 87 turbo, how wide do you think I can go on tires, before I start getting into clearance issues? Enkei 396-890-6518SBC RP03 Wheel 18x9.0 +18 5x114.3 SBC.

    By the way:

the only other options if I want to keep the speedometer accurate with the Dunlop Direzza ZII
    is:
    255 35 18

if I go with a different brand than:
    245 35 18 would work to.

thanks Justin, I'll be going with the 255's. doesn't really make sense to go with a tire narrower than the rim, when I can benefit from improved traction - provided they fit correctly.
