And you still can't make and RX-8 look good no matter how much money you throw at it.

    Oh wheel guru's....

Would those wheel fit my 86? I've the subframe out and those shown up locally.

    17 X 9 ET: -8 (with spacer I have)
    17 X 9 ET : -28 rears

Should "fit" fine, but they'll be pretty aggressive. Fronts should look sweet IMO. And they're 17's, so you're going to have to drop the car to the ground to fit them up nice.

They have slightly more (about 3mm) exposure than an 11 et0, for reference.

On stock fenders they're gonna poke*. Not sure how far you can roll/pull… DZ would probably know better than i would.

*Though I guess it depends on tire size and also how much camber you're running.

I've run 17x9.5 et0 on my fronts. With that, they still have another 10mm before being "flush". No poke.

I'm running 18x9.5 et -13 (not +13) on the fronts. I've got them pulled a ways though. The fronts pull SUper easy tho. My front track is actually wider than my rear track.

18x9.5-25 on the front, suck it DZ. 10-4 on the pull though, its not for the meek. Front track width is wider myself as well.

    Rears:
17x9-28 will put the wheel from hub out 142mm

    I run a 18x11+6 which puts it at 134mm

Now the rear of kouki is 10mm wider than a Chouki IIRC? Should put you around the same. With this being said, its a super aggressive setup with tons of suspension work. I wouldnt recommend it if you're going at it half hearted.
