Transmission weights
I searched around a bit, but didn't find anything regarding the weight of the 3 z31 transmissions (T-5, 71c, 30a).
Does anybody know which of the 3 is the lightest and by how much? -

I can weigh the 30a for you when I get home.
But I am sure the 71c is the lightest, then the 90a, then the 30a. -

I am just theorycrafting if I can shave weight by using scca update/backdate allowances. -

Alex is correct, but the difference isn't a lot, will you really notice 15lbs in the middle of the car? -

Under the cover - THE BANANA… that needs to be re-energized.

Well I'll be damned, just found the info in an old thread:

Guess I'll keep the 71C then. -

I'd wonder about the Z32's 30A, considering it's a bit shorter…Damn dirty angels....these cars!
